Description

What Is Origami?

Origami is the ancient art of paperfolding that has its origins in China and Japan. Oru in Japanese means “to fold” and kami means “paper”. Origami is an art and a hobby that can be done by anybody at any age. We will start with simpler designs and gradually move on to more complex origami projects. Origami can be both two-dimensional or more complex three-dimensional objects.

This is a beginner friendly class, but more advanced students are welcome to the club. They may wish to share some of their expertise with other club members and demonstrate more complex models.

Cost $40 for 4 sessions in June. Includes supplies, but students may bring their own origami papers and bone folder.
