Zentangle is the art of relaxation in a beautiful form. “There are no mistakes” in Zentangle, only opportunities for individual expression! Use special pens to make guided marks on small paper ’tiles’.
Join us to explore your creative self in this 4-session introductory class. You will learn approximately 20-30 ‘tangles’ as well as become familiar with online resources you can use to grow your personal abilities.
The $10 art kit, payable on the first day of class, includes a Micron PN pen, tiles in three sizes, graphite and chalk pencils, and a bookmark that outlines the basic structure of a Zentangle lesson, all enclosed in a beautiful drawstring bag.
The class will be held on two consecutive Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning May 20-21 and 27-28 from 2:30 ’til 4:30PM. The cost for all four classes is $80. Register online at chelseaartcenter.com or call 352-804-1272 to reserve your spot and pay in person.
ABOUT SUSAN LANINGA
Susan has been tangling since 2013. In addition to earning her certification as a Zentangle teacher, she has taken hundreds of hours of classes from numerous other CZT instructors. With 39 years of classroom experience, (K-12 & University) Susan now loves to teach Zentangle, and see the delight in other people’s eyes as they realize they, too, can create beautiful designs.
