We celebrated the Grand Opening today with lots of friends and fanfare! At 10 am, Vicki Carol, award-winning local artist, began the celebration with an acrylic demonstration of Tips and Techniques for painting with acrylics. Vicki’s engaging 2-hour demo was also a preview of her upcoming 4-session class on Tuesdays, September 12, through October 3.

After Vicki’s animated acrylic demo we enjoyed light refreshments and time to chat and network with other artists. Ocala CEP ambassadors arrived for an official ribbon-cutting at 12:30 pm, capping our celebration.
We did it!!! Those present, many who have helped through the past year to get Chelsea Art Center to this point, signed the slice of ribbon, a piece of Chelsea Art Center’s history! Thank you all for being an integral part of this venture!
