The Many Faces of Florida Exhibit includes realistic, abstract, contemporary, and traditional art. Thirty-five local artists share their personal vision of Florida in 70 artworks from all-media including painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, mixed media, and digital art. The Exhibition reflects the many stories, colors, and perspectives of our remarkable state. Come see Florida through their eyes.
The Opening Reception on September 13, featured social time to mix and mingle with the artists and other art lovers while they enjoyed entertainment by Eli and Jake of the Youth Symphony Orchestra, and sampled light refreshments.
Mid-point through the reception, Barbara Fife welcomed everyone and People’s Choice Awards from the Patriot Exhibit were announced. See the Patriot Exhibit post for the winners.
Barbara recognized and thanked all those who volunteered their time and talents to hang this beautiful exhibit. Cynthia Alicea, Patricia Clapp, Barbara Brown, Vicki Carol, Mary Tadic, Leda Raenold, Bob Logan and John Elliott. Thank you, John Elliott for providing the labels for the artworks.
Everyone showed appreciation to Sharon Goodwin and Peggy Maragioglio for setting up the wonderful array of refreshments. Thank you to all who brought delicious treats to share!
